Haven

I dream of my haven
And thoughts abound
Of where do I belong?

Wall stripped bare and raw
Whiteness that drifts in the air
And tangerine ray that casts a spell

I imagine cup and platter
Laid down on the wooden floor
With silence filling my ear
As I let the day be a day--
No expectation of anything more

Twilight be the light that haunts my days
The time between darkness and light
That still leaves a hint of hope
When almost all else is gone

I dream of my haven
And my haven is not a place;
My haven is my comfort
Comfort that calls my mind to ease
